The next reopening of lapsed mineral lands has been scheduled for 10:00 AM CST on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Clients may log into MARS prior to the reopening time and select lands for a mineral claim application. However, validation and submission of the application cannot proceed until reopening time. Clients should not access the “Acquire a New Disposition” page until about 5 minutes prior to the reopening in order to prevent timeout issues

If issues arise when attempting to pay for a mineral claim application, please contact the ER Service Desk ([email protected] or 855-219-9373) within the 15-minute payment window to retain the application’s priority. The following information will be required: application number, client, and fee amount.
