MARS Scheduled Outage

Please be advised that due to scheduled maintenance, MARS will be unavailable on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 06:00 PM to Sunday, September 15, 2024, 09:00 AM CST. Please ensure that you have logged out of MARS by that time.

The issue impacting MARS functionality when using Chrome or Edge browsers has been resolved by updating your browser to the latest version on or after September 5, 2024, Firefox was not impacted by this issue.

Reopening Scheduled for September 12, 2024

The next reopening of lapsed mineral lands has been scheduled for 10:00 AM CST on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Clients may log into MARS prior to the reopening time and select lands for a mineral claim application. However, validation and submission of the application cannot proceed until reopening time. Clients should not access the “Acquire a New Disposition” page until about 5 minutes prior to the reopening in order to prevent timeout issues.

The next reopening of lapsed mineral lands has been scheduled for 10:00 AM CST on September 05, September 12, September 19, and September 26, 2024. The notice of reopening has been posted in https://www.saskatchewan.ca/business/agriculture-natural-resources-and-industry/mineral-rights#whats-new.

Lands Available for Mineral Permit Staking – Postponed Until Further Notice

The following lands will not become available for mineral permit staking until further notice: West of the First Meridian: Township 42 to 45, Range 30; Township 42 to 53, Range 31; Township 42 to 50, Range 32. West of the Second Meridian: Township 42 to 53, Range 1 to 12. Availability was previously scheduled for Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM CST. Please refer to sections 31 to 39 of The Mineral Tenure Registry Regulations (https://publications.saskatchewan.ca/#/products/65749) for information on mineral permits. MARS Updates: August 2024

The Search book has been updated to include the Review Date and the Work Requirements fields. Additionally, mineral claim staking now requires the applicant to interact with a checkbox screen immediately prior to confirming the land selection.
