The next reopening of lapsed mineral lands has been moved to April 7, 2026, Tuesday, at 10:00 AM CST. Clients may log into MARS prior to the reopening time and select lands for a mineral claim application. However, validation and submission of the application cannot proceed until reopening time. Clients should not access the “Acquire a New Disposition” page until about 5 minutes prior to the reopening in order to prevent timeout issues.
